Next step: Talk to you, followed by an inspection
We want some details, who saw this invader, where, when, why was it upsetting, is it the first time you saw it or is this an ongoing issue? Who uses the space, you, a family, children, and pets? The most important part of IPM or GPM service is identifying what is bugging you. The second most important part of great IPM service is a thorough inspection.
Then: A Plan
We develop a treatment strategy that makes sense to you, and with your approval, implement it. This plan may include pest or pest harborage removal and most likely will include pest exclusion or pest harborage exclusion. We use a wide variety of materials to exclude pests, matching the appropriate exclusion to the pest type and the opening or area to be excluded.
Finally: Follow up
We will schedule a follow up visit (or phone call) to gauge the effectiveness of our strategy and execution. Understanding how a pest control strategy worked sets the ground work for future pest control at the site, in this case, your home.
 All of the above steps are Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and Green Pest Management (GPM).
Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is the integration of different techniques and strategies to control pests. For example, physical trapping or removal of pests, environmental changes and exclusion are all strategies that are combined with pesticide application to successfully solve pest problems. The goal of IPM is to eliminate regular pesticide applications based on the calendar and reduce the amount of pesticides applied by using them only when and where they are needed. GPM follows all the fundamentals of IPM, but when a pesticide is applied, the material used is made from natural materials and is low risk, or if a chemical is used, it follows particular tenets making it a low impact material.
